Jul 20, 2007. #6. I took the gx-24 back to Roland and had it repaired. The repair took a day. They said there was a recall on the control panel. Roland also updated the firmware and serviced the machine, and installed a new cut strip. They were quick and thourough. I'm glad I bought Roland for the customer service.
145 posts · Joined 2008. #1 · Jul 2, 2009. I am having troubles with my Roland GX-24. I have replaced the blade and cutting strip and it still is cuting in certain places with a dash cutting line. I am able to weed the vinyl but I can feel it when I am weeding heat transfer material the skipping edges. It does it in various places.

In cut studio go to. File. Cutting setup. Choose your cutter as your machine from the drop down. Choose get from machine to change the size of your work field and click okay. After you click okay on the settings it should say "origin point moved to the bottom is this okay". Cannot help with the speed of fed vinyl.
